We often complain about the RINOs in the Republican Party. Well, this Saturday the Republicans in the 1st Congressional District are having a Conservative Conclave. Lets let them see how many conservatives are out there who are willing to make changes. The emphasis is on Constitutional rights and the family. Our old friend Terry Beatlley will be on the program.
The event is free and will feature Kittrell's (another old friend) BBQ. I'm going to be there helping to park cars so carpool if you can.

I am writing today to tell you about a free event on May 4th—it will be a perfect opportunity to meet and interact with fellow conservatives who are willing to take action to defend our shared values.

Are you conservative? Yes? Join our movement! Help us advance Liberty and Constitutional Rights, the Sanctity of Life, Free Enterprise & Economic Opportunity, Fiscal Responsibility & Budgetary Restraint, a Strong National Defense, and the Freedom to Trust and Worship God.

Keynote Address by Congressman Rob Wittman:
Conservative Values
Life: Terry Beatley
Liberty and the Bill of Rights: Senator Richard Stuart
Special Guest: Congressman Buck McKeon, House Amend Services Committee Chairman: Our Nation’s Security

The Conservative Conclave is a way to reach out to conservatives across Virginia and bring them together. Conservative principles can only survive if we build and nurture a movement that relies on the power of our grassroots activists. The Conservative Conclave will help build the strength we need to advance our conservative values.

Come and get some free food—Kittrell's Bar-B-Q & Ransone Oyster Fry. Enjoy refreshments, great conversation, and live entertainment. And most important—meet fellow conservatives who want to make their voices heard in Richmond and Washington.

Please join me for this free grassroots-organizing event on May 4th—bring the whole family and bring your conservative friends! If you have any questions about the convention, we can discuss them face-to-face.

Sign up for tickets at http://www.eventbrite.com/event/5861009437/efbnen#. Do not let the credit card logos on the web page scare you—IT IS FREE—sign up for the FreePass and enter your name so we have the correct amount of food. Or, just reply to this email with the number who will attend.

Click here: https://www.facebook.com/pages/Conservative-Conclave/519264358117281?ref=ts&fref=ts and “like” Conservative Conclave on Facebook to get up to the minute information. Share Conservative Conclave stories and photos with your Facebook friends.

Montross Tea Party booth at the Richmond County Fair. It was visited by many interested and interesting people. We also made voter’s registration forms available and it was encouraging to see how many young people registered. Free raffle tickets for Chick Fil A vouchers proved to be very popular.

A group of Montross/Lively Tea Party Members and friends went to see the movie 2016 Obama's America which takes audiences on a visual journey into the heart of the world’s most powerful office to reveal the struggle of whether one man's past will redefine America over the next four years. The film examines the question, "If Obama wins a second term, where will we be in 2016?" This was followed by a meal at Chick fil A.
